This position works out remotely from Ontario in the Nutrition division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. The Customer Replenishment Manager is our key customer contact with all levels of the Retailer Replenishment teams to proactively influence a supply plan for supporting Abbott Products in their stores and DC’s. This colleague will utilize advanced planning, forecasting and replenishment techniques to drive sales, maintain high in-stocks, fine-tune forecast accuracy, right size store and DC inventory for Abbott items at the Retailers. Critical activities include pro-actively managing forecast, store in-stocks, network inventory position, and order patterns to implement replenishment strategies and estimate monthly/weekly shipment volume. Other responsibilities include executing replenishment activities associated with new item launches, promotional activity, item discontinuations, and proactively manage fines relating to fill rate and on-time deliveries.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Customer Facing- leverage Customer Data & Relationships to manage customer replenishment, manage business planning sessions, support new product launches, monitor forecasting/analytics, and influence the Customer to accept new policies and programs. All to achieve forecast alignment, improved customer forecast accuracy, optimize growth & execution with the retailer.

• Key performance indicators for this position include, but are not limited to, Customer In-Stock percentage, Fill Rate, Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Event Performance, OTIF and fines.

• Build and maintain multiple customer-facing relationships, including Replenishment Managers and Buyers.

• Understand customer specific needs and help facilitate/ translate into actionable recommendations, along with communicating Customer’s Replenishment metrics and targets

• Proactive Leadership of Scorecard metrics to drive improved results at Customer Level

• Grow sales and enhance Abbott Nutrition equity by:

 Improving product availability at shelf / maximizing Customer Demand Fill Rate

 Pro-Actively Managing relationship & customer collaboration process as the key contact with the Customer’s Replenishment team, and key internal collaboration partner with Sales/Demand Planning/Supply Planning/Customer Service

 Leverage their relationship/credibility/analytics to help influence/negotiate transactions that optimize growth of our brands for both AN & Customer

 Improving Customer’s supply chain metrics (inventory weeks on hand, in-stock, Fill Rate, OTIF, Event Performance, influencing Customer Forecast Accuracy, Bias). Understand, track, and report KPI’s to stakeholders as necessary.

 Proficient use of Customer Data combined with collaboration between the customer, Sales, and Demand Planning will be used to drive efficiencies with predictable product flow throughout the entire supply chain.

 Collaborate with Customer on Replenishment settings and Event strategy.

 Scripting of Orders for Customer

 Track Event Performance with Customer & Follow-up with Correction actions for Errors

• Work closely with the Sales Key Account Managers &/or Supply Chain to

 Aide monthly, quarterly, and yearly volume builds.

 Perform post promotion analysis from a replenishment perspective

 Manage gaps between Customer POS and retail forecast, and communicate over stock situations timely to prevent short-dated product

 Pro-actively act on customer’s over stock situations by providing to the

Retail Team recommendations to accelerate sales

 Mitigate difficult situations within the Retail Team where Abbott in-stock position is not able to satisfy customers’ demand. Participates in the allocation decisions/process

• Support the Customer Team Leads to:

 Identify insights & actionable recommendations on replenishment to drive Customer volume &/or efficiency opportunities

 Provide weekly reporting/analysis of POS including POS from E-Comm sales and impact to replenishment

 Identify supply chain efficiencies within the Customer and AN environment to drive cost savings

 Lead quarterly replenishment meeting with Key Customer and AN teams

 Build and maintain customer and internal stakeholder relationships that will ultimately drive supply chain efficiency and business influence

• Additional responsibilities

 Leads optimization of Retail Sales Planning system and processes

 Write-offs & allocation management

 Special packs planning and forecasting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or other related disciplines;

• 5+ years of prior replenishment and/or sales experience at a CPG company supporting Walmart, LCL/SDM and/or Amazon;

• Requires thorough understanding of CPFR processes and Supply Chain product flow;

• Professional maturity and ability to work autonomously;

• Strong technical proficiency (Retail Link, MS OFFICE SUITE, SAP);

• Ability to work with and combine large data sets from varied platforms to perform a complex analysis and simplify the output for business teams ;

• Must be able to work within structured processes with a high level of accuracy and deliver resolution of complex problems;

• Customer Focussed with strong ability to prioritize in a very fast-paced environment;

• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills;

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
