Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry, situated in New York, New York. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing various payroll duties, including processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for a large number of employees. With a focus on multi-state environments and union-related payroll processing, this role will require proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Paylocity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for a large workforce

• Gain additional experience working with Unions and processing in Multi-state environments

• Utilize Paylocity and Microsoft Excel for various payroll tasks

• Handle employee timesheets accurately and efficiently

• Resolve payroll issues and inquiries from employees

• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records

• Collaborate with the HR team and management on payroll related issues

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems. Requirements • Candidate must possess experience with Multi-state Payroll

• Ability to manage Payroll for Over 500 Employees is required

• In-depth knowledge of Payroll - Multi-State is necessary

• Experience with Payroll - Union is preferred

• Proficiency in Process Payroll is essential

• Familiarity with Process Bi-weekly Payroll is desired

• Experience with semi-Monthly Payrolls is advantageous

• Ability to manage Weekly Payroll is necessary

• Proficiency in Employee Timesheets is required

• Knowledge of Paylocity software is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
