Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Residential RecoveryCare Coordinatorto add to our team of professionals. This position willprovidecase management services and skills training to clients with primary substance use disorder diagnoses.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Provide services to include case management, skills training, and primarily with clients in the Stepping Forward programs and also in the 3.5 residential program as needed.
• Complete pre-intake paperwork, care plan reviews and state reporting documentation as assigned.
• Maintain appropriate records as required for case management services and skills training according to Southwesterns policy.
• Maintain adequate inventory of food and household supplies.
• Maintain data for on-going program evaluation and improvement.
• Advocate on behalf of individuals with primary substance use disorders.
• Demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to psychiatric crisis situations.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to ensure high quality of medical care for clients.
• Maintain contact with other service providers, community agencies, schools as well as civic organizations to enhance community awareness and public relations.
• Conduct consultation and education activities as needed to Southwestern staff and other professional groups, or community members.
• Provide backup assistance to other services in Addictions Services as assigned.
