Position: Operations Business Analyst

Location: Des Moines IA - Hybrid

Join our client company as an Operations Business Analyst. You will work with the operations and business groups within the life insurance and annuity domain.

You will have base knowledge and perhaps even be a subject matter expert in either life insurance products and or annuity products or both. You can apply your product knowledge and Business Analyst experience working with the operations and business teams, partnering with a Project Manager, and gathering and documenting business requirements. You get to specialize.

Knowledge of SDLC, Software Development Life Cycle, is great. But you can leave the technical knowledge and skills up to others and specialize and focus on your passion as an Operations Business Analyst. This is a chance for you to shine in your domain knowledge, work with like-minded people and teams., and make a direct impact in project work without the bureaucracy that innately comes with a large enterprise organization. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, 5+ years as a Business Analyst.

• Industry knowledge in Life Insurance and or Annuities.

• Experience in manual testing, creating test plans and executing test scripts.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and SQL and Power BI would be a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills.

Requirements

• Expertise in Business Requirement Document creation and maintenance

• Proficiency in Manual Testing techniques

• Ability to translate complex business problems into simple and effective solutions

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment

• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively
