Description

We are offering a contract opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. This role primarily involves assisting with large litigation processes, document review, issue coding, and preparing for depositions and subsequent motions practice. The successful candidate will utilize their skills in construction, documentation, and legal research. Responsibilities:

• Assist with large-scale litigation processes, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly and efficiently.

• Conduct comprehensive document reviews, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and organized.

• Utilize issue coding techniques to categorize and organize documents and data effectively.

• Prepare for depositions, ensuring all necessary documents and information are prepared and organized.

• Assist with subsequent motions practice, providing necessary legal support and advice.

• Utilize construction knowledge to assist with legal processes and decisions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring all information is recorded correctly.

• Conduct legal research as necessary, providing valuable insights and information to support legal decisions.

• Collaborate with the legal team, sharing knowledge and contributing to team objectives.

• Ensure all legal practices and processes adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Requirements • Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Proficiency in construction law and related legal areas.

• Demonstrated experience in managing legal documentation and contracts.

• Excellent skills in legal research and analysis.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in the use of legal research software and other relevant computer applications.

• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
